Do you ever feel like socializing in the office is just way too much? Linda from HR is chatting with everyone who comes in before anyone’s even had their coffee yet. Words spill out of every coworker’s mouth and everyone seems concerned with the happenings of each employee’s weekend activities. Can’t we all just work in blissful silence? 

Introverts don’t need the chit-chatty hoopla in the office, we’re perfectly happy never seeing pictures of anybody’s kid at a band recital and we don’t really care that your family’s chili recipe won at the neighborhood cook-off. Sorry folks, but introverted workers are socially «out of office» when we step up to our workspace. We’re independent and self-entertaining and don’t need the gossip or dramas of the folks around us to get through the day. 

Introverted people can handle a full workday without all the meaningless hooplah–however, if any coworker wants to talk about memes, we’re all ears.
