Despite Elon’s best efforts to ruin the place, Twitter is still standing. It’s kind of mangled, but it has survived this far. Here at Memebase, we have to admit that we are eternally glad that this is the case. For all its many faults, there are vanishingly few places on the internet that provide such a consistent level of text-based amusement and discussion. We could argue that Reddit competes with it in some ways, but it’s just not as witty as our beloved bird app. While it might be true that Twitter attracts a lot of deeply unhappy and annoying attention seekers, isn’t that the case for most who make it big on social media? At least some of the time, they’re pretty funny. 

This leaves us with no choice but to celebrate some of the most  amusing bits and pieces that have been shared on the platform recently. It’s got to be said, the magic is still there.
