In middle school, children are still trying to figure out their preferences, personal styles, and interests. That’s why it’s important to teach all children that just because another kid is different from them, it doesn’t mean they should feel entitled to make negative comments about a kid simply being a kid. We were all there at one point in our lives; we wouldn’t want a fellow classmate ripping apart an outfit that our moms had purchased for us at Sears the day before. That’s why, when an eighth grader decides to pick on multiple students and teachers in the next story, a seventh-grade girl decides to give him a scare. Just in time for Halloween! The eighth-grade boy thought it would be funny to pick on the girl for dressing in all black, calling her a witch in the process. Yes, he meant it. The girl had had enough of this boy’s torment, which was not only bestowed upon her but upon others as well. So, she decides to go full witch-mode.
