Why is it so hard to remember to drink water? We all have our ways that we trick ourselves into doing, but it doesn’t seem to come naturally for most of us. Sure, we’ll chug down some h2O when we’re thirsty, but it’s difficult to hit the recommended ~100oz of water every single day. There are some pretty far-out life hacks to get us to hit that level.
Personally, I rely on my monstrously large water cup with a silicone straw, what some might call an adult sippy cup. It follows me around all day and it helps me take it down in large amounts. Some seek out water enhancers to jazz up their daily cup, whether it be straight-up lemon or a bevy of sugar-free syrups (anyone remember Watertok?). Some of us have water bottles with little messages of inspiration keeping us on target for the day. Any way you get it done, all that matters is that you’re staying, say it with me, hydrated.
