It’s official, Timothée Chalamet did not win the Oscar for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. As much as Club Chalamet would have liked for that not to be the case, it is. Whether or not you thought he deserved it, perhaps we can all agree that «Like a Rolling Stone» is indeed a banger for the ages. The opening organ chord, his signature drawl, the insisting chorus of «How does it feel?» That’s a song that immediately puts you on your toes from its very first bar. No wonder we’re still exploring its origins and impacts in 2024/2025. 

The central idea of the song is an interesting one: exploring what it’s like to be a tumbleweed through this thing we call life, never quite landing somewhere, just rolling on to infinity and forever after. To be on your own, a complete unknown. But there are a few things that keep the lonely traveler company, and memes are one of them.
