Having a morning routine can be incredibly important. If you start your day on the wrong foot, everything else has the potential to go wrong. If you’re starting your morning throwing yourself out of bed, not making up your sheets and leaving them tangled up, skipping a face wash, throwing on yesterday’s rags, and hitting the town, odds are you probably won’t feel good about yourself. You’ll probably spend the day feeling kind of off-kilter and dirty. It’s hard to recover from that once the morning has passed you by.
Imagine a different reality: you wake up as the sun hits your eyes. You make up your bed so it looks polished. You do some light stretching, take a shower, and don your Sunday best. You might feel ready to take on the day, then. It’s not always this easy, though. Sometimes you wake up feeling like a trash goblin, and a trash goblin you will stay.
