This weekend, the long awaited Snow White live action remake is coming out, and I’m intrigued. This movie has been the subject of so much online hate over the past three years, and I can’t wait to see if it’s actually as bad as everyone who hasn’t seen the movie says it’s going to be. My guess is that it’s going to be similarly middling as all of the other Disney live action remakes of the past 5 years, with a new generic pop-song score to boot. I like both of the actresses playing the leads («Enough champagne to fill the Nile» is a favorite meme of mine) and I’m fairly confident that the CGI dwarves will do more to ruin the movie than Snow White or the Evil Queen.
