By their very definition, vacations are something that is meant to be enjoyed. However, this doesn’t always prove true in practice. Often, the more people who are joining a holiday, the more potential there is for disagreements and drama, and if family happens to be involved, the odds of this increase even further. There is nothing like planned relaxation to bring out unexpected stress.
When it comes to having a vacation with other people, there has to be a lot of thought put into everything from travel to location to accommodation in order to make sure that everybody has the highest chance of being happy with the end result. In a large group, there is almost always somebody who has something to complain about. Whether that is resolved peacefully or spirals into something bigger is highly dependent on who is involved and what they are demanding, as well as how acceptable everybody else finds it.
