If Reddit had never existed, could its equivalent be created and found successful today? As the internet increasingly transitions to relying on the products of human-imitating robots, it could be argued that even if it found its feet, it would not be the same juggernaut that we know, love, and also cringe at today. Like any kind of popular platform, what makes Reddit is the people and the varied stories that they come there to tell.
It is still one of the best places for niche advice (although, as with anything, it’s best not to take it as gospel) and to learn about the weird and not-so-wonderful idiosyncrasies of other people’s lives. It can be easy to get lost over there, though, so perhaps it is best to stay on the safe side by just looking at what we have to offer here. We would like to think it shows the highlights.
