Gamers are great at making snap decisions. It’s part of what makes you a good gamer. Playing a video game is all about making hundreds of little decisions every couple of seconds. Which button do I press now? Which road do I go down? Which NPC do I speak to? Which healing elixir shall I consume? Should I woo-hoo now or later?
All of these decisions come together to make the game. That’s what’s fun about playing them. When you’re reading a book, you’re engaged in the story, but you’re not affecting it (unless you’re reading a choose-your-own adventure). When you’re playing your favorite game, there is nobody else in the world who has had the exact same experience with it as you. You create something completely new every time you boot it up. This luckily translates to other areas in life. Gamers are great at everything that requires a decision.
