Tumblr is such a unique website. It has managed to maintain its own unique culture, while Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram have morphed into the monster that is TikTok 2.0. Tumblr has stayed strong and persevered (mainly because the short-form video part of Tumblr, TumblrTV, hasn’t really taken off) as a blogging site instead of Elon Musk’s personal palace or Mark Zuckerberg’s sanitized play place. Some might say that Tumblr is a cringey platform for lost teens trying to find their identity, but that hasn’t really been the case in the past 10 years. Sure, that will always be a part of Tumblr’s brand and identity, but its actual content is way funnier and high-quality than people give it credit for. If you’ve never been a native Tumblr user and have only seen posts secondhand from Instagram, Twitter, or this list of hilarious Tumblr posts, you’re missing out on some of the best stuff.
