Gamers don’t have it easy. They have to face a lot of adversity, like when their game is lagging or none of their friends are online. This can be difficult stuff to overcome. But gamers are used to it. They know what it’s like to try and fail. They’ve played Call of Duty with their older brothers and gotten their behinds handed to them on a silver platter. Then they took a step back, and they got better. They put in the hours, and they didn’t get discouraged. Because practice makes perfect, and nobody practices more than gamers.
Gaming isn’t a contact sport, though. We get to do it all by our lonesomes, at our convenience. Nobody is forcing us to game, but we have the privilege of doing it. We probably wish we were doing it more frequently, but we have stupid stuff like jobs and lives that get in the way. If it were up to us, we’d game at almost every moment we could get. Because practice makes perfect, and gaming requires hours. I wouldn’t mind putting them in, though.
