The Funniest Reddit Posts of the Week

Reddit remains one of the more candid social media platforms around today.

For all the accusations of karma farming that sometimes get thrown around in the comment sections, the front page of the internet is still a place where people come for advice, guidance, and even to show off a little when it feels like there is nowhere else to go to do those things. Reddit has had a massive cultural impact over the past couple of decades, thanks to being open to hosting discussions on pretty much anything that Redditors can think of.

As such, the many different subreddits that this site is home to represent a refuge for those who feel like their efforts or issues may go unappreciated somewhere else. There is not always the guarantee that Redditors will be positive about them, either, but at least they can hide behind anonymity if they choose and avoid the humiliation that comes with being a public figure on the internet on occasion.

A sometimes underrated side of Reddit is its humor. Like anywhere, it can sometimes be an acquired taste, but the sheer amount of randomness that it is home to means that there is bound to be a little something for everyone if you look hard enough. Social media has long been an exercise in proving the weirdness of the human race, and Reddit is no exception to this rule. In fact, it can sometimes take it to the logical limits that a place on the mainstream internet can go to.
