Welcome to your gardening phase; we’ve been waiting for you

Everyone needs to go through this phase at some point. The summer is (still) here, and you want to work the land and become completely autonomous when it comes to food. You’ve watched one or two documentaries about plant-based diets and about agrotoxins, and you have decided: You are going to change the world, one vegetable garden at a time.

Hey, I’m not saying it’s not going to last; all I’m saying is you might benefit from trying to keep ONE plant alive for more than two weeks before jumping to create an entire greenhouse.

Still, for those who have tried gardening and succeeded at it, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your first strawberries and tomatoes grow, and then eating them, because I can assure you: they taste nothing like the ones you buy at the supermarket.

Even if you only plant aromatics, those are the easiest to maintain and the ones that bring life to your every dish, while also making you feel like an alchemist; that’s why I will always support touching some grass and planting some seeds. What could go wrong?
