Did you all think that we were leaving The Life of a Showgirl behind so soon? Doesn’t look like it.

Yesterday we received amazing news for all Swifties: Taylor was putting out a new single called ‘Patient Zero.’ And of course, we were thrilled! Mother is mothering again and feeding us more of her music. But naturally, a question arose in all of us: is this the end of The Life of a Showgirl? Are we entering a new era so soon? After all, TLOAS was released less than a year ago. We are not ready to move on yet. 

The promotional photos for ‘Patient Zero’ had quite a different aesthetic compared to TLOAS, and that’s why we started doubting. But Mother never disappoints, and now we have the answer: we’re not only getting a new single, we’re getting other 3 songs to add to the Showgirl album! 

We’re still in our showgirl era even with these bonus tracks, and we couldn’t be happier! After all, we haven’t had enough time to drink all of the juice from this album yet. And even though our girl never stops working on new music for our enjoyment, we’re not ready to leave this one behind. We are still processing everything. 

After the announcement on social media, Swifties went insane with excitement. They are already making up theories on what the songs will be about, and tracking all the clues Taylor left for us these past few days. Fans are so excited that they’re saying that «this is the most Taylor Swift thing imaginable» and calling it a «genuine artistic milestone.» There’s no doubt Swifties are devoted fans. 

All there is left now is to wait until these songs come out. In the meantime, we can keep enjoying the album we already have and prepare to be dazzled by our favourite showgirl!
