Who says there’s no time machine? 

My sister recently turned 31, which makes no sense because last year she turned 20. She was supposed to turn 21 this year, but someone changed her ID card; I’m completely sure. You see, if she’s actually 31, that makes me…not 15 anymore. 

Oh, to be an angry teenager. I know every generation says the same thing about their childhood, but our Millennial years had to be the best. Top animation TV shows, the craziest toys in the stores, and weird, yet very entertaining, trends that had to be shared in person, with no social media culture yet. I’m not going to say life was simple, because it didn’t feel like it back in the day; but it was definitely very fun. Growing up is realising that some of the iconic toys you used to play with only continue to exist in the most random thrift shop. It’s always surprising how something that used to feel so permanent now feels like a very distant memory. 

Here’s the thing: we grew up, became adults, got jobs (sort of) and turned into functioning members of society. But one look at any of these pictures and it doesn’t matter how old we really are, our creative 13-year-old self will come right back to bring us the joy and pure bliss we used to have back then.
