It’s time to confess my secret relationship with math…it has been going on for years. 

Can we rekindle our quadratic relationship? As long as you leave all those problems at the door, Math. 

I’ve been giving math a hard time. Making fun of it and constantly using its very serious nature to make unmatched hilarious memes. Admittedly, these memes are pure and iconic comedy. But here’s the thing: I have a secret about math that must come to light. You might not know this about me because why would you? You’re an internet stranger, but I was once on a mathlete’s team at school. Which basically means I was an undiscovered genius. Someone was probably ready to make a film about my advanced mathematical skills. Okay, yes, arguably I was like 8 years old, and yes, at that point the only formulas I had to solve were additions and subtractions. That said, I won a lot of competitions back in the day. I want to take this opportunity to thank my fingers for counting faster than the other kid’s ones. 

Sadly, as I grew older, math did too, and it got a lot smarter than me. Or should I say, we broke it up, but it was a mutual thing. Okay, math broke up with me once I couldn’t get past the idea of calculating hypothetical formulas, in which each number was a different size, may I add, to solve non-existent problems. However, like every first love ever, math still holds a special place in my numerical heart. In that way, this meme collection is sort of like a love letter to our iconic and very problematic relationship. I mean it, math expected me to solve all its problems and never had clear solutions.
