We know, we know. Record Store Day is in April, but when you’re a vinyl collector, everyday is record store day! This hobby and be expensive, but cool, or expensive and now you’re a hoarder… People who go recording shopping regularly understand what I’m saying. You’re either gonna drop big bucks on a few vinyl that you have been in search of for years or have been waiting to be released. Or you’re going to drop big bucks on WAY too many records from the dollar big. And, yes, it is possible to be both of these types of collectors.
Which ever you are, we see you and we are you. Vinyl has always been the best way to listen to music and always will be, that’s why it started making such a comeback a few years ago! You have to pay attention to it, because you’re going to have to flip it soon. You have to take care of it, because you don’t want to scratch, break, or melt that vinyl. And you have to know exactly what you have or else you will lose that artist in the shelves of records you have. That might sound like a lot of work, but it’s worth it because the music you listen to means so much more to your soul.
