Just got my nails done and I’m feeling reeeaaal good. The nail design I have now is pink with a pink glitter fire design on the tips. I got them done for my birthday, so they had to be really cool. And they truly are. I wish I could show you a photo, but you’ll have to picture them in your head. They have girly and rockstar vibes at the same time. Perfect for a 27-year-old birthday girl.
The girls know choosing a color can be a tough decision. Your nail tech gives you a world of possibilities, and your saved pins on Pinterest aren’t exactly helping you narrow things down. They are actually making it harder to pick a color and a design. There are just too many cute designs on that app.
Sometimes you already know what design you want, but not the color. Other times, it’s the opposite: you have the colors in mind, but you don’t know which design to pair them with. Luckily, I do have a little advice when it comes to nails. If you want general life advice, then I can’t guarantee anything, but since we are here for the nails, I’ll be helpful. One thing that helps me decide is thinking of the colors that go with the seasons of the year, for example, in autumn, I choose brown and yellow color palettes. Also, if there’s a holiday, a concert, a wedding, or any kind of event coming up on my calendar, I consider them a source of inspiration too. For example, with the World Cup happening right now, you could do a nail design using your country’s colors. Whether or not you’re a big fan of soccer, it’s at least a way of narrowing down the options.
