It’s kind of ironic that in a time when entertainment is more available than ever, we are also becoming increasingly bored. All the myriad of choice out there can easily get overwhelming, confining us to the same limited interests and media. On top of that, it can get to a point where it can seem like we’ve seen it all, even when it comes to memes. While we all know what we like, and sometimes it pays to stick to it, there are moments when it pays to shake things up with something a little different. Although a random meme gallery might bring us some of the tropes that we know and love, it also adds an element of surprise that we might not find otherwise. It may be a small way of bringing some novelty to proceedings, but it still counts towards all our needs for variety and excitement.
