Eating is one of the most essential needs of pretty much everything on this planet, and human beings are no exception. What sets us apart from all the other species, though, is that we often do all manner of different things to our food before we consume it. Beginning to cook is considered a key turning point in our evolution, and from there, it has become a huge focus in just about every culture on the planet. 

It is one of those things we have to be thankful for, or else we would all be bored out of our minds eating plain vegetables and carbs, and unseasoned meat. Perhaps it’s not so great for some waistlines, but it is for the palate. As well as this, cooking opens the door to a whole other genre of silly memes. Sometimes they’re relatable, other times they’re gross, but they all boil down to what happens in the kitchen.
