There is nothing quite like a beach day. I hope you’re getting to have at least one or two this summer. It’s important stuff. To dig your toes in the sand, to let the water heal you, to watch a dog fetch a ball in the water. These are all vital to keeping the nervous system regulated and keeping your happiness in check. Even if it’s a fake beach day (aka you go to the public park, plant your feet in the grass and listen to ocean sounds).
There is something about being near a body of water that just relaxes you. At least if you’re anything like me. It’s also a great way to cool off from the heat, something that I’m almost positive you’re needing to do this summer. Nothing like a quick dunk in a cold, cold body of water to make you realize that everything is going to be just fine.
