One thing the uber-capitalist overlords don’t want you to know about procrastinating is that it takes a lot of effort to waste this much time. There’s endless possibilities of things that we could be doing instead of working, although many of us only choose to concentrate on a few select choices. 

With much more of the population doing more working from home, in theory, the options are even more endless. Nonetheless, most people still fall back on the old classic: doing stupid crap on the internet. We’ve all got an addiction that needs tending to, and there’s no point in denying it.

We know by now that this is where the memes come in. They’re funnier than doomscrolling through the daily news, and less annoying than seeing what arguments everyone else is getting into on social media. That’s why we keep on harvesting as many as possible, because they stop us having to think as much.
