Pasta is one of those foods that it’s hard to go wrong with. Even most fussy eaters can enjoy it in some shape or form, and it’s versatile enough to have inspired thousands of delicious recipes (and a few abominations that should have led to some people being banned from cooking). Among its many types, spaghetti has to be one of the most popular. 

Sometimes a craving for noodles can only be satisfied by something long and kind of awkward to eat, and there is no denying that this has led to an important cultural impact, too. There are even more spaghetti memes out there than there are flavors of sauce to combine them with, because let’s face it, it is a pretty funny food. Carbohydrates were never so ridiculous and delicious at the same time. Just saying, penne would struggle to make a name for itself as iconic as this.
