I struggled with bad skin from when I was 11 until I was 20. Ever since, I have not had any acne at all because I sold my soul to the devil and went on Accutane. For those of you who don’t know, Accutane is a really intense medication that literally cures your acne. That might sound like snake oil to you, fellow long-time acne havers, but it actually worked for me. The only thing I had to give in exchange for no acne is my sanity, and I’m not even joking. Every bad side effect medication can give to you, Accutane gave to me. I’m talking back pain, skin peeling off, suicidal ideation, no appetite, bloody nose every day of my life, and that only scratches the surface. In the end, it was all worth it because I will never stain my pillows with rancid topical acne medication again.
