Since when did forgetting your phone charger become grounds for claiming ownership over a hotel employee’s personal belongings?
This hotel front desk worker thought they were having a pretty standard front desk interaction when a guest asked if the hotel had a spare phone charger she could borrow. Unfortunately for her, the hotel had stopped offering chargers after too many guests conveniently «forgot» to return them. Most people would probably accept that answer and move on with their lives. Not this guest.
The situation immediately took a bizarre turn when she spotted the employee’s personal charger plugged in behind the desk and somehow decided that, because he was currently on shift, his belongings temporarily became hotel property that she was entitled to use. Honestly, the mental gymnastics deserve Olympic recognition.
