Y’all, I’ve got to admit something…I genuinely miss the little Twitter bird. Unlike many weaklings out there, literally nothing anyone can do will make me quit the place formerly known as «the bird app.» It’s my app, and no amount of poorly thought-out design and administrative changes can make me leave her. Twitter’s overlord could make it a dark dungeon where you hurt your finger every time you scroll down, and that still wouldn’t get me to log off. I just think it’s really rotten that he changed the logo from a cute little bird to a totally unfit evocation of what Gen-Xers think is cool. If one more person says, «I don’t know whether to call it Twitter or X,» I am going to rip my eyebrow hairs out of my face one by one. 

Luckily, over here on Memebase, we believe in being a sanctuary for birds. These bird memes will not be replaced by «X memes,» under any circumstances.
