The time clock can be a funny thing.  We have more precise ways to keep track of our working hours than ever, but that doesn’t necessarily mean we get compensated for them. The system of rounding your hours up and down can be so confusing that it takes you right back to learning decimals in 6th-grade math. And 6th grade was a long time ago. 

In this day and age, it’s important to advocate for yourself. It might be difficult to stand up and say you’re being wronged. But someone has to do it because it’s likely that if you’re getting wronged, other people are probably getting wronged too.
