Some folks opt for a grandiose wedding filled with 500 of their closest friends, and others prefer to keep their ceremonies more private, intimate, and close-knit. There’s nothing wrong with either of those options because, at the end of the day, it’s up to the bride and groom’s preferences and what works for their family size (and how popular they are, of course).

But you don’t want to be too popular. As in, millions of people, who you obviously don’t know, are tuning in to your wedding as a spectacle rather than attending as a guest you’ve known your entire life.
