28 Disney Channel Memes for 2000s Kids Reminiscing on the Old Days
Before streaming, before endless scrolling, there was a very specific after-school routine that just hit different. You’d get home, drop your backpack somewhere you’d deal with later, and immediately turn on Disney Channel hoping you didn’t miss your favorite chapter. It wasn’t just watching shows, it was fully immersing yourself in a world where closets …

Early 2000s radio listener flooded a Britney Spears LA ticket contest with millions of automated emails, crashed the station’s inbox, and still only got second place
This story has everything I needed for a nostalgic trip down internet lane. I mean, Britney Spears Live in LA, local radio DJs holding contests and above all, early internet naivety where contests actually trusted people to behave themselves. That was adorable. 25+ 2000s and 2010s Nostalgia Memes Wondering Where the Time Went
One minute I was eating Cheez-It Gripz during school lunch and the next I was an adult with a job. The 2000s were a special time. The music was kind of terrible (except for Britney), the TV shows were brightly-colored and loud (but we loved them anyway) and the Razor scooters did more damage to …

The Re-Release of The Sims and The Sims 2 Proves That Life Simulators Don’t Need More Realism, But Satire
One of the most popular memes inspired by the iconic life simulator The Sims uses a screenshot from The Sims 3. It depicts an infant Sim lying on the floor on fire while its mom stares intently at a computer screen, playing video games. It acts as an apt metaphor not only for the addictive …

If you were a child of the 90s, odds are you at least had a friend who was obsessed with Sylvanian family figurines, if you weren’t yourself.
