TikTok won’t be the king of content generation forever.
If several decades of internet culture have taught us anything, it’s that no one platform can enjoy an eternal moment in the sun. The place gets oversaturated, the service it provides gets worse, and people decide that it is time they moved on to better things.
It could be argued that this might be what happens with TikTok in the near future. Protesting the ethically dubious change in ownership recently undergone by the US entity of the clock app, many TikTokers have protested by trying to find an alternative, of which the most popular has been UpScrolled. Perhaps a turning point is finally here.
