Is there a more annoying sound in the world than someone else’s phone playing TikToks? I’d be hard-pressed to name another one. You know this if you’ve ever been on the bus with someone who was playing TikToks out loud. It’s the tinniest, most grating sound on planet Earth. When you’re watching your own TikToks? It’s tolerable. But when you’re removed from the visual element of it, it makes you want to claw your ears off. 

This would be especially true if this happened at your workplace because you can’t escape your workplace. Like it or not, you have to be there every day. If there is a major source of annoyance in your environment, it is especially hard to get around. But that doesn’t stop people from being people. Some of us just don’t have as much regard for each other as we should. That’s what happened in this story, where a certain coworker had high expectations when it came to how people treated her, but didn’t care as much when the tables were turned. A classic case of hypocrisy.
