We have seen it all!
Some of you will remember an «incident» that occurred a couple of weeks ago involving singer Tate McRae and the makeup and skincare brand Neutrogena. If you aren’t aware, the singer filmed a sponsored video cleaning her face after a concert with their products, but in the video, it was obvious that she was not putting those products directly on her face. She was pretending she was, with a not-so-clever use of the camera position. As you can imagine, this caused a lot of heat online, with people criticizing the singer for her behavior, the brand for letting her post something like that, and, of course, making memes out of all of it. But to some, the video had a completely different effect. It wasn’t about the funniness of the situation; it was about how this singer is selling a product she would never use on her face.
