Cursed & Cringe Food Parodies That Thankfully Aren’t Real

Photoshopped product packages have been making the rounds on the meme scene for at least five years. The most popular instances of this phenomenon take the form of Hot Pockets and Pop Tarts packaging. Memers doctor the packages to boast appetizing flavors such as «dryer lint» and «filthy ashtray» – the latter of which is a bit too familiar to feel fake. While these culinary creations won’t be winning any James Beard awards, they do succeed at both making us cringe and helping us lose our appetites. And at the risk of sounding normie – we still have a lot of quarantine weight to shed before we feel totally comfortable at the beach. We’ll take all the help we can get.
