What they say is true. Every able-bodied and minded person should be mandated to work a customer service job before becoming integrated with society. Why? It would hopefully inspire a little empathy. And that’s what our beleaguered customer service and retail workers really need. These poor souls work shift after shift attempting to solve problems and assist customers who truly believe their little problems are the end of the world. From crazy Karens who need to see the manager to Dads with puffed up chests who think they know everything, there’s plenty of customers making the lives of service workers pretty damn miserable. If they cope anything like we did when we were «helping others» we’re guessing they’re doing it with booze, drugs, and lying horizontally for hours at a time just trying not to hate life. A healthier solution? Scrolling through relatable memes as a reminder that they’re not alone in their plight.
