Dad bakes brownies with his 2-year-old son for office potluck, coworker who hates kids complains about it to HR: ‘This co-worker said it wasn’t fair that I made a dish she wouldn’t eat’

Would you eat a meal that was, in part, prepared by a toddler? I haven’t had to answer that question myself, and for some reason, my instincts veer towards answering it, «Sure, why not?» Then again, I might not be the empress of cleanliness. I will eat at NYC restaurants with a C rating just because it’s close, and I have never not abided by the 5-second rule. Then again, there’s a difference between a competent adult making food in a slightly dirty restaurant and a toddler who doesn’t have a grasp on modern germ theory stirring chocolate that will sit atop my cookie.

One father recently went viral on Reddit for making a brownie cookie concoction with his 2-year-old for an office potluck. He put a sign by the dish clarifying that the toddler helped make it so that his coworkers could decide for themselves whether they would indulge. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough for some people.
