Parenting is complicated, but when the in-laws want to chime in with their two cents, an already confusing journey of the conscience becomes more like a minefield of doubt. But this dad didn’t doubt his parenting tactics; he knew he was right to help raise his kids the right way by putting boundaries in place. Knowing his own kids better than anyone, these boundaries would ultimately protect them and help them thrive. 

And his nosy brother-in-law’s opinion didn’t make much of a difference to him. That is, until he openly mocked his «silly rules» in front of the children at the resort buffet.
