Daughter Finds All of Her Mom’s Old Cellphones from the Late ’90s/ Early 2000s, Hits All of Us Millennials Hard in the Nostalgic Feels

Nothing says throwback like an old cellphone. Wow, did millennials truly grow up with cellphone tech, or what? It’s like the evolution of the cellphone aged with all of us millennials, so we have a special place for cellphone nostalgia. It’s like we’re looking back at our own family tree. You don’t just see an hold clunky phone that doesn’t work anymore. You see hanging out in the mall with your friends, buying a faceplate for your Nokia at the mall kiosk, texting and calling your friends after 9PM so you wouldn’t use up all your minutes and texts, and basically our entire childhood. It’s quite an emotional rollercoaster, actually…

Recently, a fellow millennial found that her mom had the most epic time capsule in her home—she had preserved all of her cellphones she had throughout her life, PLUS, their chargers. She didn’t hesitate to share this epic find on her social media. The videos show her going through the first phone that was a clunky Motorola brick with a retractable antenna to her first set of touchscreen phones. There isn’t one Apple product in sight, so don’t expect to see any iPhones. They hit all the most popular cellies like the indestructible Nokias and, of course, the hot pink Motorola Razr. Some viewers are bummed that this family didn’t seem to be a Blackberry family, but that’s a matter of opinion. No matter what, thought, going through these phones is hitting millennials directly in the nostalgic feels. Check it out for yourself below!
