You call it a cat cafe, I call it a surefire way to accidentally ingest cat hair. And if I wanted to do that, I would have stayed at home. Based on the amount that my cat sheds… I’m probably unknowingly swallowing it more than I’d like to know. 

That said, cat cafes are generally legitimate businesses. It’s a cute idea, especially for people who don’t have a cat in their lives and want an excuse to go hang out with some friendly felines. But the reality of serving food and drinks amidst a slew of notoriously furry animals… I’m just not totally convinced. But even the truest cat cafe believers will balk at what this Australian lady is doing, as it seems to be shamelessly and hilariously cashing in on the trend, without actually understanding what it is.
