Getting a college education in America can completely ruin a person financially, as times just aren’t what they used to be when our Baby Boomer parents were our age. This Twitter thread is depressing as hell, but highlights the reality of being in an outrageous amount of student debt.

The solution to all of this? It may be time to encourage today’s high school kids not to attend traditional college and go to trade school or community college instead!
