This is a disaster waiting to happen.

If you’ve never been a parent, you don’t know how easily you can get sick of your kids. Of course, you love your kids and want to spend time with them, but if you’re spending 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with them, you will want a break every once in a while. Parents don’t want the school year to start up again because they hate spending time with their kids. They don’t like having to entertain them all day, every day. That’s what turns regular kids into iPad kids! Their parents don’t want them to get bored, so they give them a little machine that prevents them from ever feeling bored as long as they live! What they don’t realize is that boredom is an important part of brain development, and if kids aren’t able to be bored during the summer, they certainly won’t be able to sit still and do well in school, where they certainly will be bored for a great deal of time 

The mom in this story wants her son to be entertained, and it’s good that she’s not shoving an iPad in his face. However, what she’s doing is almost certainly more dangerous than giving him an iPad. She’s asking strangers on the internet to take him and entertain him for the day. She doesn’t have money to pay said strangers, but she wants them to take him somewhere fun, like a trampoline park. What could go wrong?
