For months we’ve been hearing the words «Buy the dip» in regards to both meme stocks and crypto. But these days, the mantra is starting to feel like something of a joke. Bitcoin plummeted to under 30k earlier today, and hasn’t rebounded by much. Ethereum is hovering around a sad 1.8k, and Dogecoin, unsurprisingly, has also sh*t the bed. The meme coin has dropped to 19 cents – the lowest it’s been since April. 

The dismal and bloody charts have manyHODLrs lamenting their dedication to buying the dip on social media  – but some optimistic folks are actually lamenting the opposite. They wish they had more money to drop during the crash. We’re just amazed that people have any money to throw into the ring. Despite the polarizing feelings, we can’t seem to escape the memes and tweets. Here’s hoping the jokes go from self-loathing and scared to celebratory. We could all use a little extra dough in our wallets.
