None of us are right all of the time, no matter how much we claim to be. This can be a painful experience, especially for those of us with an excess of pride. Nonetheless, it is an important lesson in life to be able to learn from our mistakes and admit when we are wrong. 

Unfortunately, there are plenty of people that find this hard, or are at least so convinced that they’re incapable of being incorrect that this doesn’t even cross their mind. The internet has only underlined this point over the past few decades, exposing us all to a whole other caliber of stupidity that tries to masquerade as genius. It’s allowed for many facepalm-worthy moments over the years, and this shows no sign of slowing down with time. Confident incorrectness is an affliction all of us can be guilty of from time to time, but it isn’t always as publicly entertaining than this.
