Have y’all heard the big news? Well, I guess it’s more like rumors. According to a report from Platformer, Elon Musk is now considering the idea of putting Twitter behind a paywall. The report reads that «One such plan might allow everyone to use Twitter for a limited amount of time each month but require a subscription to continue browsing, the person said.» Frankly, this is a terrible idea. People are already tweeting (a lot) about their dissatisfaction with Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover. Musk aside, sometimes I even feel like I should be paid to scroll through the bird app. If the cringey billionaire wants to destroy the very flawed app, he seems to be inching closer to his goal.
