A lot of things lose their novelty as we become adults, but staying in a hotel usually isn’t one of them. There are some exceptions, like being the kind of
person who always goes on business trips, or is constantly having seedy extramarital affairs. For many of us, though, there’s a lot of excitement to be had from tiny pillow chocolates and fold out ironing boards.

One group who we can all but guarantee are not so jazzed about the magic of hotels are the people that work in them. As with any job, they are all too aware of the cut corners and annoyances that often go on behind the scenes in this part of the hospitality industry. Not everyone realizes all the crappy parts of working in these roles, but thankfully we’ve got memes out there to help spread the gospel. If only they could somehow stop guests having meltdowns at the front desk.
