We live with an internet that is completely permeated by cats, and in all honesty, that is one of the better things about it. With all the general BS and negativity that can come with spending too much time online, getting to look at one of our feline friends do something ridiculous or help to explain some kind of relatable folly that happens to a lot of us. For almost as long as internet culture has been a thing, the entertainment that comes from cats and their memes has been a kind of pressure valve to allow us to let off some steam and enjoy the greatness of making silly jokes using the creatures who may or may not consider us to be their personal servants. Even if that is their opinion, they give back so much in the form of humor that it is difficult to be mad at them.
