Ah, the good old days. 
Back when we were going on field trips, we were completely unaware of the torment that was going on in our poor parent’s heads, 
but worry not – for karma’s a b*tch. Suddenly you’re volunteering (and shortly thereafter regretting doing that) to take on more responsibilities, and you realize that being a grown-up does not mean you know what the hell you’re doing.
It’s simply an illusion, so you gotta fake it till ya make it. Or in our case, just keep faking it.
Is there anybody else who’s a bit lowkey jealous that their kids get to go on an all-expenses-paid, lunch-packed, zero-responsibility field trip, or is it just us?
We could definitely do with a break. Ten + more years to go people, but who’s counting?
