Galaxy-brained poster claims that nobody with an 130+ IQ listens to music: ‘This is a lot of words to say you don’t understand music’

Throughout history, there have been many different ways that have been used to measure someone’s intelligence. Perhaps they can complete complicated algebra without a second thought, or they speak ten different languages. Maybe they thought up a whole new philosophy for life or proved the seemingly impossible with a scientific theorem. We have even tried to make cleverness a club you can join, as with Mensa.

As it turns out, we probably didn’t need to use any of these forms of proof for a ballpark estimate of how brainy a person is. Why? Because a dude on Twitter has found an easier method of separating the geniuses and the dum-dums. It’s simple: apparently, really intelligent individuals do not spend time listening to music.

It will come as no surprise that this inflammatory take had some indignant and amusing responses. I’ve gotta say, I don’t mind looking stupid if it means I still have access to my Spotify playlists.
