Living with family can be a beautiful thing, but it can also be the most difficult thing you do together. In my experience, it’s so much easier to get along with your family if you don’t live with them. You can take your time away, engage with them when you want to, and you don’t have to worry about sharing space. If you need to, you can return to your own peaceful dwelling and forget about family drama. Then visiting family becomes a fun occasion, not just the dreary every day. 

But it’s also wonderful to live with family. You get to share quotidian moments rather than only seeing them when there’s something special happening.
