Society gathered together one day and decided that brides have a free pass on their wedding day. It’s their big day, if they want 25 live doves released behind them when they do a grand entrance, so be it. However, the woman in our next story seemed to view her cousin’s wedding day as an opportunity to make it all about herself–a big no-no in the unwritten wedding etiquette rules. 

After 2 years of meticulous wedding planning, u/WickedYummy had it all put together. She had her first dance picked out, her bridesmaid dresses, and her color scheme perfectly poised to have the greatest wedding ever… That is until her selfish cousin stepped in. Seeing any family gathering as a stage to shine a spotlight upon herself, the cousin audaciously asked the bride if she could turn this beautiful, fully planned wedding into a gender reveal party. 

Girl… What? Although her family had mixed reactions on the right way to respond to this, the bride fervently put her foot down, almost shouting, ‘NO’ right in her cousins face. Hopefully she’ll be hiring some security guards on the night of her nuptials.
